Tasting Notes
60% gamay, 40% poulsard - 8.5% alc/vol. What a treat! This is a demi-sec, petillant rosé from one of France's great winemakers. It shows remarkable purity of flavour and perfect balance of sweetness and lightness. On the nose it is exquisitely vinous with bright aromas of pomegranate, blueberry, wild strawberry, and tart red raspberry. The mouthfeel is sensually balanced with invigorating acidity combining with lip-smacking red berry fruits, zest and minerals coalescing on the finish. One glass is never enough! - Importer Note
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
