Tasting Notes

I love Riesling, especially in the Summertime. I must stress, regardless of sweetness levels in Riesling, it is nothing like it use to be - it's better. Forget the sickly sweet Rieslings of yesteryear and take a moment to try a wine that exudes balance in the most basic of facets - acidity and sweetness. Here, the Trossen's have produced a Riesling that balances it's 20g/L sugar content (<4g/L being dry) with it's extremely high acidity that the Mosel in Germany is so well known for. What a wine... and I haven't even started with their story. A cult classic and very limited availability. - Chris L

A beautifully balanced Riesling by biodynamic pioneer Rudolf Trossen. An off-dry style that is still crisp and clean, with plenty of citrus and mineral acidity. One of the most well balanced and enjoyable Riesling's of the year. Very limited. - Gaby F
