Tasting Notes
I love wines like this from Langhe that are not simply pale imitations of bigger Barolos but have a unique expression of their own. Glacial red fruits on the nose of strawberry, red cherry and pomegranate with with a touch of earthiness and tar. Refreshing alpine acidity and some beautiful chalky tannins on the palate make this the perfect companion to any meat-based red pasta. - Aaron C.
