Tasting Notes
Fiano is an Italian variety that feels right at home in our Mediterranean climate. Native to Campania in Italy's south, it's a grape prized for its texture and its knack for holding onto acidity even in warmer sites, giving you ripe stone fruit and citrus alongside a savoury, nutty, almost honeyed depth and a gentle floral lift. This one is sourced from a single organic vineyard in Blewitt Springs, where a cooler microclimate helps retain that natural acidity and freshness.
Fermented cool in stainless steel to preserve its vibrancy, the wine was then finished in seasoned French oak barriques to add a touch of texture and breadth. The result is full of ripe stone fruit and zesty citrus, with hints of white flowers, almond and honeysuckle, and a bright, textural palate that stays fresh right through. - Aaron C
