Tasting Notes
This is a classic McLaren Vale blend of three distinctive parcels, Grenache from Blewitt Springs for its bright red fruit and perfume, Shiraz from Ingoldby Road for dark fruit, spice and body, and Mataro from Sellicks Hill for its savoury, earthy, gently leathery backbone.
Together they make a wine of real depth and balance, with a richly layered flavour that runs from red cherry and warm spice into subtle hints of leather and dried herbs, all on a concentrated palate. The tannins are structured and fine, carrying through to a long, nuanced and satisfying finish. - Aaron C
