Tasting Notes
Grown on the sandy loam soils of Ingoldby Road, only metres from where the wine was made, this Shiraz is McLaren Vale through and through. It's all dark blue and black fruit, blackberry, blueberry and plum, with a savoury edge of warm spice and cocoa, sitting medium to full bodied on a frame of fine, structured tannins. A modern take on the region's Shiraz built for detail and drinkability rather than sheer power, and one that's happy to be enjoyed now or cellared for years to come. - Aaron C
