Tasting Notes
Touriga Nacional is one of Portugal's most famous varieties and the backbone of great port, and it's found a happy second home in the warmth of McLaren Vale. It's a deeply aromatic grape, and this one leads with an expressive floral lift of violets before opening onto a full bodied palate of blackcurrant, dark cherry and blueberry with a touch of warm spice. Matured in larger format French oak to support the fruit rather than overpower it, it carries real depth and a lingering finish that keeps you coming back for more. - Aaron
