Tasting Notes
This is serious Gruner people! Think top-end Sancerre - it's powerful in fruit weight with a complexing layer of minerality that drives through the rich and full weight of the wine. Very complex and layered. Open and decant. - Chris L
Loess' terraces are the classical picture of the Kamptal valley. The soft formed hills around Langenlois remind of the beginning Waldviertel. Loess is a sandy soil ‚– brought to the region by winds ten-thousands of years ago from the Alpin regions. This limy soil gives the Grüner Veltliner its classical structure of elegance and his unique character.
