Tasting Notes
This wine delivers crisp lime, soft white peach and a cool, stony edge, finishing clean, dry and sharply refreshing. Schloss Gobelsburg’s centuries-old heritage underpins its precision, with vineyards on historic Austrian sites bringing clarity, balance and quiet authority to the style. The result is a finely tuned, mineral-led expression that feels both timeless and effortlessly modern. - Aaron C
Loess' terraces are the classical picture of the Kamptal valley. The soft formed hills around Langenlois remind of the beginning Waldviertel. Loess is a sandy soil ‚– brought to the region by winds ten-thousands of years ago from the Alpin regions. This limy soil gives the Grüner Veltliner its classical structure of elegance and his unique character.
