A fine-boned and savoury Syrah from the high-country of Beechworth (Victoria). This Thorley single-vineyard wine will build more body with time in bottle but for now you can see an array of herbs and spices sounding the restrained fruit core and fine structure. It's perfect with leaner cuts of meat or low-butter/oil vegetable dishes. - Chris L
Less is more! Minimal intervention or Lo-fi wines encapsulate those producers who keep additions and manipulations to a minimum during the winemaking process. This means the wines are wild fermented, unfiltered and unfined, and only add sulfur during the process.
