By taking the fruit from this ancient vineyard Tom Shobbrook has stopped it getting ripped out, and aren't we glad! Ottantotto, means 88, which is how many year old the vines are in the vineyard and their still producing, just. There's a beautiful concentration, seemlessness and elegance throughout the 88. It's pure, invigorating and ethereal. I can't wait to see how this vineyard progresses as it receives a few much needed cuddles from Tom over the next few years. - Chris L
