Baba Yaga is a Rose made from co fermenting Sauvignon Blanc on skins with about 10% Cabernet Sauvignon thrown in to brighten things up. A really textural bright rose, tropical aromas, light red berries; This is one should go straight in the fridge, chill it right down and wait for the next sunny day to get stuck in! Si Vintners is made up of two qualified winemakers (husband and wife) who in September of 2010 purchased a 30 acre estate with 20 acres under vine (majority planted in 1978)."The property is situated just south of the Margaret River township in an area called Rosa Glen. Our motivation is to hand craft natural wines, which are expressive of the vineyard and sub-region.Since purchasing the property, the vineyard has been farmed 100% organic/biodynamic. "All our wines are made without any of the usual additives used in commercial winemaking, apart from a small sulphur addition at bottling.We bottle our wines without fining or filtration as we believe that these processes take away aromas and flavours from the wine. We believe a little sediment in the bottom of the bottle only creates a more authentic wine."
