Tasting Notes
Aux Guettes is on the upper slope, facing due south. There is a lot of clay in the soil and the wines tend to be on the firm side. The plot was planted in 1965 and is only half a hectare in size. - Importer Note
Classic mid purple, sparkling with energy. A great nose as well, a terrific mix of vibrant ripe fruit and the whole bunch touch. Really racy generous stuff, but so light on its feet, and I love the white pepper finish when it is coated in perfumed raspberry. Tasted: October 2020. 92-94pts - Jasper Morris
