
Tasting Notes
I don't drink a lot of dessert wine and even less Vin Santo, but when we tasted this one from Sorelle we didn't hesitate to buy some for our store. Vin Santo a method of production of dessert-style wines in Italy. The grapes are first dried on racks, then fermented and aged in barrels. The resulting wine is concentrated and sweet, but good versions like this have an aire of freshness to them. Best served with non-chocolate desserts or hard cheese. I loved it! - Chris L
