Tasting Notes
A bright lighter natural pinot with a whiff of strawberry, 12.8% alc. And the producer's note on the label is absolutely true (nice) - 'think wild strawberries, a smattering of spice and subtly stalky to sip ". We loved it at home at a cool 16 degrees. - Michael L
This Pinot Noir is from the steep slopes of Brian Gilbert's vineyard at Ashton in the cool Adelaide Hills. The product of a later, cool vintage the grapes were hand picked and about 20% whole bunches included in the ferment. It spent about seven months in French oak barrels. Was neither fined nor filtered. - Winery Note
