Tasting Notes
This is a very pretty little Pinot from the Freycinet Coast in Tasmania. Light floral notes with a vibrant, raspberry jube tone. A touch of Pinot Meunier adds a savoury mushroom character, but the focus here is all on the fruit. On the palate, the wine brings juicy wild berries, together with a subtle earthiness that adds complexity and depth. Nothing is out of balance here, and if you like the lighter style of Pinot Noir, this is a wonderfully delicate example. Enjoy as it is, or even lightly chilled for the hot, Summer months. - Felix G
