Tasting Notes
Sourced from high-altitude vineyards on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, this Nerello Mascalese-dominant wine embodies the precision and energy of Etna’s volcanic terroir. The nose opens with wild cherry, blood orange and dried rose, layered with notes of smoke, herbs and crushed rock. On the palate, it’s finely etched and mineral-driven, with bright red fruit, savoury spice and taut acidity carried by ultra-fine tannins. The finish is long, saline and stony, capturing both the power and transparency that make Etna such a remarkable place for wine. A beautifully balanced and pure expression of Sicily’s volcanic heart. - Chris L
