Undervalued and underrated. Get your hands on this beautifully aromatic and expressive Chateauneuf du Pape. 100% whole bunch ferment gives this wine a lithe character that's rarely seen in this region. There is still ripe fruit flavours but it's far more restrained in body and perfumed aromatically than most other producers and that's something I really look for these days - elegance and grace without compromising flavour. A beautiful wine in every way that is extremely good value compared to others from the region. Exquisite. - Chris L
The Domaine Pierre Usseglio is now run by Pierre's two sons Jean-Pierre and Thierry. Half of the vines on the estates are more than 60 years old and the remaining half are around 30 years old. The Réserve Des Deux Frères and Cuvée de Mon Aieul Châteauneuf-du-Pape are produced from some of the oldest vines in the region. - Importer Note
