Tasting Notes
The pale platinum colour belies the true nature of this Chardonnay that bears strong relationship to top flight Chablis. It's piercing mouth-watering texture is not centered around the usual interplay of fruit and oak flavours. There are a many good Australian Chardonnays but this is quite apart and represents amazing value. Not much produced - Distributor Note
Tarrington Vineyard is a close-planted biodynamic vineyard just 2km from Hochkirch that was established by Tamara Irish and Dianne Nagorcka in 1993. Nine clones were used for the Pinot Noir and 4 clones for the Chardonnay. The vines are un-irrigated and efforts taken not to disturb the natural populations of fungi, worms and frogs. It is now owned John Nagorcka of Hochkirch and he has been making the wines since 2010. - Distributor Note
