Tasting Notes
The coolest site that winemaker, Luke Curry, sources his Mornington fruit from. Grown on the volcanic soils of Main Ridge, the wine is brightly red-fruited, softly spiced, with a beautiful purity and polish to it. Well-rounded, lighter-bodied and intrictate enough to keep the Pinotfiles among us interested. Very good. - Chris L
Taturry is the project of winemaker Luke Curry, based on Mornington Peninsula, where he farms and vinifies from his own vineyard, known as Mosselini Vineyard. Over time, the 4.5-hectare block in Merricks North has matured into the heart of the label, planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Luke’s approach is minimal-intervention with Burgundian influence — native ferments, careful handling and restrained oak — focused on precision, purity and site specificity. The wines have gained attention for their elegant, refined profiles that reflect both the maritime climate of the Peninsula and the expressive personality of the vineyard.
