Tasting Notes
These are lovely, elegant and refined wines crafted using Burgundian winemaking techniques and minimal intervention. They have quickly found themselves onto some of the best winelists in Melbourne and Sydney and I urge you to consider them for your own cellar. - Distributor Note
Taturry is the project of winemaker Luke Curry, based on Mornington Peninsula, where he farms and vinifies from his own vineyard, known as Mosselini Vineyard. Over time, the 4.5-hectare block in Merricks North has matured into the heart of the label, planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Luke’s approach is minimal-intervention with Burgundian influence — native ferments, careful handling and restrained oak — focused on precision, purity and site specificity. The wines have gained attention for their elegant, refined profiles that reflect both the maritime climate of the Peninsula and the expressive personality of the vineyard.
