Tasting Notes

This is delicious! It's a blend of 35% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir and 30% Pinot Meunier all from the families estate that they began purchasing in the mid 70s, initially from Krug and then as they grew they expanded their holdings across Reims. The grapes are picked fully ripe to minimise the need to add dosage and the wine doesn't see any oak so there are layers of ripe peaches, harder orchard fruits with complexity added from the time on lees and reserve wine component in the blend. - Pete L
