Tasting Notes
Cep by Cep Coteaux du Layon 2020 is a dessert wine crafted from Chenin Blanc grapes harvested in the passerillé style, meaning the grapes are dried on the vine with little or no botrytis influence.
In the glass, it presents a golden hue. The nose offers aromas of ripe orchard fruits, such as yellow apples and pear, complemented by hints of honey and subtle floral notes. On the palate, the wine is generous and racy, with tangy brightness and flavors of lemon pith, orange blossom, and a touch of lanolin. The sweetness is well-balanced by crisp acidity, leading to a refreshing and lingering finish. - Aaron C
