Tasting Notes
Petit Manseng is one of our great success stories with Alternative Varieties, its small berries, tough skins & open bunches make it very resistant to botrytis, the bane of our high summer rainfall. Pronounced 'petit mahsung ", this is another of our wild ferment wines & this one was fermented in-barrel. - Jan Taborsky
Topper's Mountain is named after brothers Edward and William Topper, employees of George Jnr. and Alwyn Wyndham (sons of George Wyndham, founder of Wyndham Estate). George Jnr. and Alwyn owned New Valley Station, which included the present day Topper's Mountain. Mark Kirkby established the current vineyard between 1998 and 2002, with his wife, Stephanie and three daughters. - Winery Note
