Tasting Notes
Serious Beechworth Chardonnay fan here... Can't get enough of the stuff... This wine hits the mark for what I want/need from Beechworth Chardonnay. Power, texture, acid balances the wine and tightens things up a bit. More in the ripe citrus side of Chardonnay. Could put it down for a few years. Could be impatient and enjoy it now. It's win win really... - Pete L
An intense, richer chardonnay typical of Beechworth. Richer white nectarine and other tropical fruits, some supporting oak to smell and taste; with citrusy acid support. 13% alc. - Michael L
We have long shared a wine interest with our attention more often than not grasped by structure. I guess it is no coincidence that this is reflected in the wines we choose to make. Nebbiolo, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon, the noble red grapes of Italy, Spain and France respectively. We believe they all have an ideal home in Beechworth. We now also have our first ever Chardonnay, Beechworth's iconic variety. We aspire to wines that are moreish, complex, textured and balanced. - Winery Note
