"Spanna" is a local regional name for Nebbiolo. Let it open a while and you should find the initial oak upgraded with some allspice and fruited uplift. Loved the savoury plummy fruit and tannin mouthfeel you want from a Piedmont Nebbiolo. Plenty of life to go. - Michael L
