Tasting Notes
Wines that sit somewhere between red and rosé are a style we'd love to see a lot more of. Tavel has long been the home of it, but growers further afield are catching on, and Vigneti Vecchio have made a cracking one on the northern face of Etna. It's a dark, deep rosato with loads of energy and the same volcanic minerality that runs through their reds, and it's unmistakably Etna. - Pete L
