Tasting Notes
This is a serious contender for best value Rose in-store. This is classic Provencal in style but sourced from grapes a little further afar so they can get away with sharpening up the price quite a bit. - Pete L
Vignobles Gueissard is a family Côtes de Provence producer working across La Londe-les-Maures and surrounding coastal vineyards. The estate crafts classically fresh Provence wines, especially rosé built from Grenache and Cinsault, with whites led by Rolle and Clairette. The vineyards span a complex Mediterranean mosaic of schist, chalk, clay-sandstone and sandy coastal seams, managed sustainably and harvested manually, with gentle pressing and cool fermentations that protect perfume, freshness and drinkability.
