Tasting Notes
The wines of Vinos en Voz are extremely sought after in Spain and rarely make it abroad. The fruit for the Costumbres Tinto (red) comes from old bush vines of Garnacha (Grenache) that Carlos Mazo, winemaker at Vinos en Voz Baja, inherited from his parents. He adopts a Burgundian approach to the winemaking and elevage ageing is carried out in old French oak stored in an old underground cellar. It's a very aromatic expression of Garnacha with notes of red stone fruits, lifted red florals and hints of smoke and spice. Please decant this wine to experience it at its best. - Pete L
