Tasting Notes
The first single vineyard release from Xavier Goodridge, using fruit sourced from a single site in Maffra. Out of the two wines in this release the Maffra was the clear winner for us. Light, yet so much nuance and detail throughout the red fruit spectrum. Subtle savoury hints with a touch of smoke help to add even more depth to this great first "serious" release from Xavier. Excited to see this evolve. - Pete L
A generous red fruited savoury pinot. This is a quality single vineyard Gippsland pinot. Smell sour cherry and soft spice hints. The taste has plenty of red fruits, surrounded by fine grippy tannin and acidity. 13.5% alc. - Michael L
