Tasting Notes
Regarded by those in the know as one of the great Bourgogne-level whites, this comes from 1.07-hectares spread across four parcels, all in Meursault: Sous la Velle, En l'Ormeau, Les Herbeux and En la Monatine. It was these parcels that suffered losses the most in 2014, the hail wiping out roughly 50% across these sites. The average age of the vines is 20 years old and Jobard racks half of the wines into tank after one year in barrel, to maximise the wine's freshness. - Importer Note
