Tasting Notes
A classy Semillon made in the rounder Southern Australian style, but with really interesting oxidative winemaking. The cloudy off-white colour gives a hint of the style; followed by a dusty sweeter citrus smell. On night 2 it may even had slight pineapple hints. For me the palate is the highlight - lifted white nectarine integrating with fine chalk tannin from the oxidative style. I reckon that's why they called it 'Flowers ". 13.2%alc. With or without food, this is an very enjoyable white! - Michael L
