Tasting Notes
Ripe, regal and round.
Uninspired by the Bordeaux classification of 1855 that still stands today. Bord-o breaks the constructs of tradition. The fruit is carbonically-fermented Cabernet Sauvignon from a high-altitude vineyard in Orange, NSW. The wine is aged in old barrels for 18 months and bottled unfined, unfiltered and unsulfured.
Bord-o has trademark Cabernet cassis and leafiness without the oak influence of sweet spice. The palate is voluminous and ripe, with luscious fruit tannins that linger. It is soft and full, and easy to drink.
