Tasting Notes
Every year these wines get just a little bit better. The variety is Prieto Picundo, a Spanish variety not often found in Australia, but is well suited to the hot climate of the Riverland (SA). Medium bodied, juicy and fruit forward with vitality and life. Naturally produced and consumed slightly chilled if desired. - Chris L
Cloud Project aka Wedded to the Weather is the micro-winery of wine old-timer Doug Woodward. Doug's a lovely bloke from Brisbane who travels the country sourcing unique parcels of fruit. You'll see varieties like Vermentino, Prieto Picudo, Durif and Alfrocherio to name a few. They are produced with minimal intervention and are made to be enjoyed young. They're super fun, glug-able wines.
