Tasting Notes
Cullen’s Amber is a skin-contact Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend from biodynamically farmed vineyards in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. The wine opens with lifted aromas of orange blossom, dried apricot, mandarin peel and subtle herbal spice. On the palate it is textural and savoury, with fine tannic grip from extended skin maceration framing flavours of stone fruit, citrus rind and gentle nuttiness. Bright acidity and a saline edge drive through to a long, dry finish. It is an expressive, complex amber wine that captures both Cullen’s precision and Margaret River’s coastal freshness. - Chris L
