Tasting Notes
Fruit grown in a mix of clay, limestone & marl, seeing only a few days skin contact & fermenting in old open top wooden fermenters. This wine is all about fruit expression, staying bright, fleshy & spicy. There is a certain persistence & length to Dario's that is unmistakably him. - Importer Note
Dario Princic, an iconic wine producer from the Friuli region. Farmed organically since 1988, the soils are made up of clay, limestone & marl. This Jakot spends around 20 days on skins and spontaneously ferments in large open chestnut cask and ages in very old barriques for 2 years before it goes to bottle. - Importer Note
