Tasting Notes
The vines are located below Gevrey in Grands Champs, a deep clay soil. The grapes are pressed, given six hours settling, all fermented in barrel, then handled like the reds, racked after harvest to bottle in November. Pale lemon yellow. A straightforward Chardonnay nose, then rather more zest in the mouth, light citrus, medium to full bodied, well managed oak integration and good persistence. Drink from 2023-2025. - Jasper Morris
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has always cultivated the vineyards with the greatest respect for its terroirs in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Its goal is to propose the very best wines that Burgundy can offer. They characterize high quality and unique diversity. Each bottle of Grand Cru or Premier Cru is the faithful reflection of these values. - Winery Note
