Our Chablis come from parcels situated beside the village of Fontenay-Près-Chablis, at the very heart of Chablis' vineyards. On high plains or steep hills, all our Chablis grow on stony soils (Kimmeridgien Limestone) which allow a moderate production. Most of our vineyards are between 15 and 20 years old. And following the 2005 harvest we exploit a vineyard that has more than 40 years of age (planted by our great-grandfather). Our Chablis are fresh and fruity (white flesh fruits, like peach and pear, with citrus notes), and already showing good minerality. Pleasant as an aperitif, they make a good marriage with oysters, shell fish and grilled fish, but also with traditional Burgundy recipes such as 'jambom persillé " (ham with parsley). - Winery Note
These are the products our customers are absolutely loving right now. They're flying off the shelves! And for good reason. So if you're stuck for ideas of what to drink, why not try one of these fantastic value wines, and see what all the fuss is about!
