Puglia must be the new trendy place for Aussie travellers as we keep having people coming into the shop asking for Primitivo. It's not really surprising though as it's a style of wine that suits the Aussie palate very well and wines like this are a perfect example. The fruit for this is organically farmed and produced without new oak. It's more of a mid weight fresher style of Primitivo that balances the riper blue and blackberry characters with acidity steering away from the styles that are dominated by fruit sweetness.
