Tasting Notes
Talk about polar opposites colliding harmoniously. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc fans tend not to play nice together and outside of Friuli, tend not to be blended together to make wine either. Usually long maceration on skins and very different to this smashable white. Early picked Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc, aged on lees to combine weight and acidity with depth of flavour. Aged in old oak and exposed to oxygen during the winemaking creating a wine that has flashes of so many of my favourites whites from the old world for a very new world price tag. - Pete L
