Tasting Notes
Yummy skin contact Arneis and Chenin from James Erskine of Jauma. Full of energy and vibrant fruit, good concentration and plenty of drive throughout the palate from start to finish. - Chris L
James Erskine is a man with genuine passion for his wines and while that may not be unique in the wine world, James is one of the more uniquely creative people in the wine world that you are ever likely to meet. The grapes for this wine come from the Wood Vineyard planted by Ralph Wood in 1988 along the Clarendon Ridge in South Australia skirting the boundary of Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. All the vines are grown organically without the use of additional water and remain on their original root-stock planted on sandy red-grey over ironstone bedrock.
