Tasting Notes
Sourced from 30+ year old vines in the Piccadilly Valley, this is super approachable, nicely pitched Chardonnay. Light citrus notes, stonefruit ripeness, nutty complexity and a delicate minerality. It's got a good weight to it, balanced by a gentle acidity. Winemaker Tim Stock says it's like a cuddle from nan... I agree. - Felix G
Les Fruits is the winemaking project of Tim Stock, using naturally and biodynamically farmed grapes sourced from the Adelaide Hills and Barossa Valley. Produced in a shed in the Basket Range, the winemaking is simple and traditional. All wines are matured on lees in old French oak barrels of varying sizes, with nothing added apart from minimal sulphur at racking and/or bottling. All of the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered.
