Tasting Notes
Tasmanian Pinot Noir is on the rise, in price. Yet only a few wines live up to the quality that comes with the price tag. This is definitely one of them. It's sensational. Medium weight with great depth and finesse. There is only a small portion of new oak used so it is a very pure expression of the Meadowbank site as crafted by Peter Dredge (ex Bay or Fires). Mixed flavours of red and darker fruits as well as beautiful savoury notes that add to the wine's complexity. Long and supple tannins. - Chris L
