Tasting Notes
What a great expression of Tempranillo from our fair country. Blended with some Grenache to brighten up the wine and bring a slick blue fruited element to the party in your mouth. The blend is home in the Spanish region of Rioja where it is usually smashed with a heap of new American oak, which tends to hide the terroir. The Ministry has taken a different tack with a wine that is more savoury and medium bodied than most wines made from these varieties. Don't get me wrong there are oodles of fruit, it's just not jammy or overripe. Take one home today! - Chris L
After a shared twenty five years in the wine industry, Ministry of Clouds marks the relinquishing of our past security and structure for the beguiling freedom, independence and adventure inherent in this, our own voice. We govern what we can, the rest is chance. - Winery Note
