Tasting Notes
The Cha 70 sake is made from locally grown Nihonbare rice polished to 70%. Nihonbare is a table rice variety that has created a unique sake with a dry savoury character. Chōju Kinkame Cha 70 has pickled notes of daikon and mushroom on the nose and a rich rounded palate with pickled daikon initially, then a slightly smokey mid-palate and a bitter toffee apple finish. - Matt Young
