Tasting Notes
Chevillon is king as far as I'm concerned in Nuits Saint Georges. This entry level Bourgogne of his is no exception with it's popping red fruits and fine line of tannin all held together in harmony by a tangy acidity. Let this wine open up over a few hours to get the most out of it or leave it in bottle for a few more years. Great drinking. - Chris L
The 0.8ha plot has a stony clay-limestone soil but drains very well. This is a beautifully generous, balanced and fresh, fruity red, with firm but balanced tannins that contribute to a very harmonious and high-class offering. This Burgundy comes from 50+ yo vines grown in the Northern part (or Vosne sector) of the Nuits St. Georges commune. - Importer Note
