Keppell Smith is no stranger to collectors of fine wine. The Chardonnay he produces off his Savaterre estate is one of the prides and joys of the Beechworth region in northern Victoria. A full flavoured Chardonnay - citrus peel, peach, hazelnuts, flint, French vanilla - with the struture that upholds it's fullness. It's long and textured, holding on your palate for minutes. This is complex Australian Chardonnay and will age gracefully over the next decade and a half. - Chris L
