Tasting Notes
A blend of Barbera and Bonarda from one of the most detailed natural wine producers in Emilia Romagna (Italy). Macchiona is a lieu dit (single vineyard) producing a complex and aromatic wine with low tannin but heaps of mouthfeel and texture. The nose is alluring and layered that keeps you going back for more. The palate is integrated from long elevage and bottle age, which lends to ideal drinking now (but will also age well). - Chris L
