Tasting Notes
Whole bunch pressed direct to barrel for indigenous ferment. Free run barrels fermented with full solids. Mix of new (33%) and seasoned Puncheons for a 10 month elevage. Occasional lees stirring for additional mouthfeel. 66% Natural Malo Lactic Fermentation.
Classic Yarra Chardonnay aromas of white peach and nectarine. Delicate and restrained dusty oak and lime leaf elements. Hints of oatmeal, fragipani and cured meats. Sweet fruit on the front palate from the warm growing season. Great mid palate texture and mouthfeel from barrel ferment and Malo Lactic components. Balanced acid line and a refined and lingering finish. - Winery Note
