Tasting Notes

The domaine was originally set up in 1978, however Thierry Laffay took it over in 1985. He farms 7 hectares and is mostly organic these days and relatively hands off in the winery too. His domaine flys under the radar, we only found out about the wines a few years ago and each year have increased our offering as the wines truly represent the best of classic Chablis. The VV cuvee is always the first to get snapped up by us as it shows all the hallmark oyster shell minerality, orchard fruit and a gentle whiff of smoke. A very classy wine. - Peta
